A visit to the Library

Today I took the kids to the local library so we could return our books, which were due today. They headed off to look for new exciting books, for new exciting adventures. My kids love to read. My Oregon friends notice Spencer's shirt. He is a Duck fan through and through, but is still very loyal to Arizona State University. It is fun to watch him, Hunter, and Doug watch football when the ducks and devils are playing. Taylor really loves to read, just like her older sister. Reading isn't Hunters favorite thing to do, but he doesn't mind it. Jessica told me she was not going to check out any books today, because she has books at home she just bought and has not read them yet. Also, she is leaving for girls camp on Monday. Well she just can not resist picking up a book and reading it. She ended up getting four books. She is my bookworm through and through. She LOVES to read. In fact we actually ground her from reading. Laugh all you want to, but she loves to read that much and we use it as a form of punishment for her. It speaks really loudly. She also thinks that we are the only parents in the world who grounds their child from reading. But Doug's older sister Katherine grounds her son from reading too. So it must run in the genes for the love of reading.

Lowden is my reader! The others enjoy it but not as much as he does.

We just went to the library on Friday and signed up for the summer reading program! We love those free books.

How funny you have to ground her from reading. She has it ruff! I'm just kidding. But that is really funny.
