Lynn meeting David Archuleta

My sweet friend Lynn was in a contest to win tickets to Houston for a David Archuleta concert. She made it to the finals and they had her on the radio two days ago. Madison was so cute and it looked like she did not know what to do. I loved this video it brought me to tears, because I know how much you appreciate his music and that he is a good example and very wholesome,especially with so much junk out there on the radio these days he is the sunshine on air.

When watching both David Cook and David Archuleta on American Idol. I preferred David Cook, I just like his type of music better. I must admit now, I really do like David Archuleta's song "Crush" and Lynn is right that he does bring goodness to the air waves with his music.

Movie night

On a whim we decided to have a movie night at 9pm on Saturday night. We called up some friends and they came over to watch Alvin and the chipmunks on a big inflatable movie screen (thanks Jamie). The little kids enjoyed watching the movie from the trampoline. Can you see the movie in the background. It is blurry though, but you can see how big the screen is. It is awesome. We borrowed it from a friend for the 4th of July, but it rained and we were not able to watch one. It started out being a muggy night, but ended up being beautiful. We are so blessed to have such great friends who will come on a whim late on a Saturday night to enjoy a movie with us. Of course the night before they called us at 9pm to go to the baseball field to throw and hit some baseballs which of course we did. Thanks Matt and Lynn you guys rock.

Congratulations my Twin!!!!!!

My sweet dear friend Rachel & her husband Martin welcomed baby girl {H} into the world yesterday. She weighed a WHOPPING 12lbs 3oz and was 22 inches long. OOOHHHH I just want to pinch those big fat cute cheeks. What a blessing to bring one of Heavenly Father's sweet children into the world. I love you Rachel. Congratulations, I wish I could be there with you. We wish you all the very best. She is a doll!!!!!!
