I formed a homemade card group with a bunch of spectacular women. Here is all the cute cards they made for an Adult Birthday Card. I could not have asked for a better group of women to do this with. I wish I could have invited so many more, but bigger card groups get a little complicated. Here is the picture of the card I did. It is made out of a lunch sack. I crumpled it and distressed it to make it look old.
The inside is the funny part of it all. I took this idea from my sweet dear friend Heather. Thanks Heather your the best.
I also made each lady a basket to put all of the great cards they will get with their name on it.
On the back of the basket I put the schedule for the cards. Here is how the group works. We have twelve people and a theme each month. This month was Birthday Adult, next month is Mother's or Father's day card and so on. They have to give me their cards by the drop off day and then the next day they come and pick up 12 new cards. This is our first month and so far so great.
I did this in Arizona with very talented women for two years and I was starting to run out of cards and decided to start one here. I love to hosting scrapbook night and have had three the last two months. I am already done for the next two months, because you all know how crazy my life gets when baseball season starts. So I decided to get ahead while I had the time.

I'm not surprised you started a new group. You had SO many cards in your box that time... I would LOVE to be able to go to my card file, pull out a card, sign it and go. Those cards look great. You picked some good women to join you. Very creative and talented.
Love the Old Bag one! That is so clever (and cheap and easy!!)
Love ya Love ya Love ya!
How fun!!! I wish you still lived closer!
