Homesick

Last week my parents and all of my brothers and sister went camping up in the white mountains of Arizona in Eagar, where Doug is from. I have gone camping here every year since I was a little girl. My dad was born here and I have a ton of family, and Doug's great grandfather founded the town of Eagar per the asking of Bringham Young. This picture doesn't do it justsice, but I wasn't there so I took if from my cousins website. My mother had three brothers and one sister and all of there children camping with them also. It is just always such great memories for me and it makes me sad that we were not able to go this year. When my kids saw the pictures they were sad and angry to saying that it was not fair that we couldn't go this year. It breaks my heart. This is there first year to never go camping up there. Hopefully we will be able to make it next year. My parents sitting around the campfire. Why my dad is holding a baseball bat is beyond me, but he is always holding something in his hand when he is sitting by the fire. It is usually the shovel so he can move the logs and coals around. I miss and love you mom and dad.

I love the White Mountains. I hadn't been there much until I met Wade. Since then, we are there at least several times a year. We almost moved up there...almost.

Yes, I do think it's funny that three of us "Tolleson Girls" married men from Round Valley class of '88. If you and Jody had been able to make it to the reunion, we could of had one of our own. LOL!

Wow! I don't know what to say other then I am happy you found me. It is always crazy to connect with family you haven't seen in years. After my mom divorced David, I lost contact with everyone. I always think about what family I missed out on but now is the chance to get to know ya'll. I know some Andersen's came to my wedding but I never had the chance to talk to them - it was a busy day. Please email me at- rockinraini@yahoo.com and let me know everything about you and your family! Raini
